Richard Jones is the Manufacturing Manager of TORO, a position he assumed in July 2017. Prior to this position, Richard has held a variety of management positions in Schlumberger including, Quality Manager for the manufacturing of drill bits and Global Quality Manager for PDC bits Assembly and Repair facilities.
 
Earlier in his Schlumberger and Smith Bits career, Richard was responsible for the overall Quality Management Systems for Bit manufacturing. Richard led the teams for compliance to International Standards (ISO and API) as well as local product specifications. Richard oversaw the international PDC repair and assembly facilities for acceptance to company and customer requirements.
 
Richard joined Smith Bits in 2000 as a System Administrator. Richard brings 18 years of Bit Manufacturing experience to the organization.
